While your children are still under your care, you need to supervise them and teach them how to become good and responsible adults. There are a lot of things that you should teach to your children and one of them can be as simple as organizing their belongings, particularly, their clothes. You can teach your children by setting an example. Organize your child's closet and eventually, they'd be able to that on their own.
When you organize your child's clothes, it would be best to place them in a drawer with their proper labels. Clothes that are folded such as shorts, shirts, and sports clothing can be easily placed in drawers. On the other hand, larger clothes or bulky clothes such as jackets, pants, dresses, and sweaters should be hanged.
Drawer Shelf
Bulky sweaters for winter or other bulky clothing can be folded and placed on shelves. You just have to ensure that the shelves can be reached easily by your child so that he/she can get the clothes that he/she need anytime. As for your child's underwear and socks, it would be best to place it in a drawer altogether.
Since pajamas are used at the end of the day, it would be best to place it in a side drawer or in a shelf where your child can immediately access it.
When you are arranging your child's belongings, particularly clothing, you can let him/her help you and this can be an interactive activity. You can let your child decide where to place the clothes but also teach the importance of organizing things. You can also have fun with the labels by adding up designs that your child likes. Aside from teaching your child about the concept of being an organized person, you are also spending some quality moments with your child, which will strengthen your parent to child relationship.
